Yellow Ribbon event educates upcoming deployers
Almost two hundred 107th Airlift Wing members packed the base theatre for a pre-deployment Yellow Ribbon event designed to inform, educate and address concerns that the deployers and their family may have. More than a dozen subject matter experts addressed the Airmen simplifying benefits that they are entitled to receive. Along with presentations from organizations such as Tricare, the VA and the Red Cross, 1st Lt. Lindsay Sorce the 107th Yellow Ribbon coordinator reassured the Airmen that there is support network in place for family that they leave behind. Members from the 107th are slated to deploy to numerous locations throughout the year. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Peter Dean)
