222nd Command and Control Squadron

Mission:
The 222nd CACS is a space operations unit under the 107th ATKW. The squadron is responsible for providing surge and contingency support to the National Reconnaissance Office's operations center.
274th Air Support Operations Squadron
Hancock Field, Syracuse, N.Y.
Mission:
The 274th ASOS trains, equips and deploys mission qualified tactical air control party (TACP) members consisting of air liaison officers and joint terminal attack controllers (JTAC) in support of the 42nd Infantry Division and 27th and 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Teams. Unit members are tasked with providing advice, guidance and planning considerations to ground commanders on the proper integration of Air Force airpower and close air support into the ground scheme of maneuver. As JTACs, 274th members are further qualified to provide terminal guidance and attack execution in a combat environment.
