CMSgt Camille H. Langenfeld is the Command Chief at the 107th Attack Wing, Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, New York. She serves as the Senior Enlisted Leader at the wing level and is responsible for advising the commander on operational effectiveness and training and equipping enlisted Airmen. She ensures the implementation of commander’s directives and polices, oversees the professional development and proper utilization of command’s enlisted force, and works in concert with other senior enlisted leaders and first sergeants to maintain the readiness, training, health, morale, welfare, quality of life, and force development of assigned personnel.
Chief Langenfeld entered the New York Air National Guard in 1990 through the 107th Fighter-Interceptor Group, Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, New York. In 1994, she retrained and became the Base Education and Training Assistant until 1998, when she returned as a Personnel Specialist. In 2001, Chief Langenfeld was retrained as a KC-135 Boom Operator. During her career she deployed in support of OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM, OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM, OPERATION NORTHERN WATCH, OPERATION JOINT FORGE, OPERATION NOBLE EAGLE, OPERATION VIGILANT RELIEF, and OPERATION CORONET OAK. In 2008, due to an aircraft conversion, Chief Langenfeld retrained as a C-130 Flight Engineer. In 2013, she was selected to be the Fusion Analysis Superintendent at the 107th Operations Squadron.
Prior to her current position, the chief master sergeant was the Senior Enlisted Leader at the 107th Force Support Squadron, Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station, New York.
