Approval of requests is at the discretion of Public Affairs and is dependent upon availability of resources and prioritization.
UNAUTHORIZED USE
Public Affairs is limited on the services and products in can provide, in accordance with AFI 35-109 Visual Information, federal law and local policy.

PA resources are NOT AUTHORIZED for the following:
- Provide souvenirs or gifts (e.g. farewell gifts)
- Provide décor for individual personal office walls. Products for organizational areas may be provided depicting relevant missions performed.
- Support or document farewell parties or social events unless certified as newsworthy or having historical significance by the base historian or chief of PA.
- Create products used primarily for entertainment during farewell parties or social events.
- Support Force Support Morale, Welfare and Recreation non-appropriated funded missions.
- Unauthorized requests.
- Alteration of official imagery, in accordance with DODI 5040.02
- Facilitating the use, reproduction or transmission of copyrighted materials without permission from the copyright holder, unless cleared in writing as fair use by the legal office.
The wing PA office is not funded, equipped or manned to replace services provided by the Document Automation Production Service (DAPS). According to DODI 5330.30 Document Automation and Production Service, the Air Force must obtain automated printing services from DAPS. Reproduction is limited to a case by case basis and determined by PA.
SELF HELP & SELF SERVICE
Self-Help Equipment

The self-help resources of the Public Affairs office includes consumer-grade still and video cameras, public address equipment such as speakers, microphones, podiums, screens and projectors, which are all available for sign out on a first come, first serve basis. Airmen will fill out and AF Form 1297 and are responsible for the transportation and setup of all equipment.

Instruction on how to use all equipment can be provided.

Graphics

The Air Force no longer provides training in graphics and design, therefore these capabilities are limited. The full Adobe Creative Cloud Suite is available for use in the Public Affairs office for those who have need for graphic and design work beyond what can be provided by Public Affairs.
