Master Sgt. Kenneth Devole, 107th Airlift Wing Vehicle Operations Supervisor, New York Air National Guard, was invited to visit a third-grade class at Colonial Village Elementary School, Town of Lewiston, N.Y Nov. 14, 2012. Sgt. Devole talked about his past deployments, his career goals and the importance of education.

"I also have a lot in common with you students, I graduated from Niagara Wheatfield School and have been in the military since," said Sgt. Devole

The class of about sixteen eager students didn't waste any time asking Sgt. Devole questions. They asked a range of questions from flying, how big is the airplane, how good the food is and can I join the Air Force. Sgt. Devole stressed the importance of doing your homework and following your teacher's instructions.

"I'm so happy to have you here to share with my students," said Miss Jennifer Mielke, the students' teacher.

At the end of the visit students gave Sgt. Devole personal drawings thanking the Air Force for what they do.

"I love the Air Force," said third- grader Kaia.
